Waste to Wonder Park, Delhi 

Waste to wonder Park is the latest addition to Delhi' s list of attraction. It replicas of iconic seven wonders of the world. It is a very unique theme park situated at the edge of Rajiv Gandhi Smriti Van in the South Delhi. Waste of cycle chain, auto engines, auto springs, petrol tanks and auto parts was used in the park. The timings of this park from 11 am to 11 pm on all days except Monday. A short picnic with the children could be done.


Seven Wonders of the World at Waste to Wonder Park

  • The 35 feet Statue Of Liberty, USA has been recreated with old bicycle parts, metal sheets and chains
  • Christ The Redeemer from Brazil has been replicated with the aid of old automobile engines and square pipes as well as electric poles
  • The Eiffel Tower has been fashioned out of 40 tons of vehicle parts to reach the height of 70 feet
  • The most famous monument of India, the Taj Mahal has been mimicked to perfection with the help of broken park benches, swings and pipes
  • Colosseum from ancient Rome has also found a place in the Waste to Wonder Park. It has been cleverly designed out of broken electric poles, metal railings and other waste objects
  • The Leaning Tower Of Pisa has been created superbly with an incline of 60 to 80 degrees angle. It has been crafted out of cycle rims, metallic sheets and old iron pipes
  • The magnificent Egyptian wonder, the Pyramid Of Giza has been recreated in Delhi with 10 to 12 tons of scrap angles

How to Get to Waste to Wonder Park? - Location Details

Waste to Wonder Park is located in Rajiv Gandhi Smriti Van, near Sarai Kale Khan and is easily accessible from all parts of Delhi. Many of the visitors prefer to drive down to the park while others avail the local buses to alight at the Sarai Kale Khan Bus Stop. The Nazimuddin Metro station on the Pink Line is at a walking distance from the park making it convenient for people looking for a more rapid form of transit

Best Time to Visit

The evening is deemed to be the best time to enter the park as the weather is cold and the entire park lighted to make it doubly attractive.

Tips

1. It is best to carry food and water as there are no food stalls within the premises
2. It is advisable to visit the park on weekdays as weekends happen to be excessively crowded
3. An additional parking fee is charged by the authorities

Entry Charges and Timings of Waste to wonder park:

Entry charges are based on age.
-For 0-3 years and 65&above entry is free(No charges)
-For 4- 12 years, entry charges are Rs 25
-For 13 – 64 years, entry charges are Rs 50

You may buy and book the tickets online as per your convenience and schedule. For the MCD school students, entry is free.

The timings for visiting the site are from 11 am to 11 pm. The average duration to visit the place is 30 – 45 minutes. It’s a unique place and worth visiting. The site will remain closed on Mondays and National Holidays.
